Argos recalls fan heater over risk of burning and electric shocks

Argos is recalling a range of fan heaters due to fears they could burn users and could cause electrical shocks.
Anyone having bought a Simple Value 2Kw Upright Fan Heater is being urged to return it to the store to receive a full refund.

Hide AdThe heaters being recalled by the retailer have catalogue number 730/9687 and model number FH03and were available in stores across the UK as well as online.

The recall notice was issued by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute and Electrical Safety this week, although the heater was first recalled in mid-December last year.
A statement issued by Electrical Safety First via Trading Standards read: "Argos have recalled the Simple Value 2kW Upright Fan Heater.
"The product is being recalled due to a risk of electric shock and burn hazard.
"If you have purchased one of these fan heaters, please stop using it immediately and return to your nearest Argos store for a full refund or replacement product as soon as possible."
