Plans for the building, which cost £25,000, were first laid out 10 years ago and work began in June last year.

St Chad's chairman Ken Walker said: "We hope the club will just be able to go from strength to strength now. For a club of our size, it's been such a shame to go for years without basic facilities such as toilets, running water and electricity, but we're delighted that from this summer onwards, that will no longer be the case."

The fun day will be held from 1pm until 4pm with team members on hand to offer tips and advice on coaching.

Guests will also be offered 30 per cent off membership prices, available only on the day.
