Building work has been completed on Channel 4's new home in the heart of Leeds.

Developer Rushbond has reached practical completion on its flagship office building, The Majestic.

The 66,000 sq. ft., Grade A space, in the heart of City Square in Leeds city centre, is set to become home to Channel 4’s national headquarters from next year.

A spokesman said: "The historic building has been the subject of a comprehensive redevelopment, with Rushbond appointing Sir Robert McAlpine as main contractor. The works saw the full restoration of the exterior, with sensitive interventions, and the creation of a new atrium and Palm Court space, celebrating the grand entrance and circulation space of the cherished Leeds asset."
