Two Horsforth churches have been praised for their floral finesse as they won prizes in the Leeds in Bloom Spring competition.
Central Methodist Church received a gold award and Grove Methodist Church a silver from the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Leeds.
A spokesman said: "It is pleasing to see both churches working together to make Horsforth a brighter place and supporting the Horsforth in Bloom Committee.
"Both teams of volunteer gardeners are now busy preparing for the Summer Judging which takes place this month."
