The Leeds Vaccination Centre at Elland Road is supporting the acceleration of vaccinations for frontline health and care workers before it officially opens next month, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust said.
The trust has been given the go ahead to start vaccinating frontline health and care workers "as quickly as possible".
The centre will not open to the wider public until a later date, as yet unnanounced.

Hide AdIn addition to NHS and social care staff, vaccinations taking place immediately at the centre will include dentists, pharmacists, optometrists, funeral directors and private health and care providers across the city, as set out in the Joint Committee on Vaccination & Immunisation (JCVI) guidance.
