The image of New Peacock Inn is one of 31 photo gems featured in this fantastic look back to life in LS11 during a decade of social and economic change. It is among a number of pubs and local landmarks included in the gallery which is sure to evoke memories for a generation of people who grew up in the community. The majority of the photos are published courtesy of West Yorkshire Archive Service which collects and looks after the unique documentary heritage of the region dating from the 12th century to the present day - more than 800 years of local history.
