St Margaret's U-9's started their season with an impressive 6-0 win over Gomersal and Cleckheaton Kestrels last Sunday.

A goal within a few minutes from Sam Feltham gave Horsforth the lead, with a fantastic second coming from an individual run by Jacob Sidebottom on the right wing which saw the ball well and truly buried in the top left of the net. Halftime came about with Horsforth three goals up.

The onslaught continued in the second half with Kynan Wrigglesworth claiming his hat-trick and Alex Bourges joining in the fun from midfield.

Horsforth kept a clean sheet thanks to the defence, with Liam Asquith, as reliable as ever, being rewarded man of the match by the coach for his efforts.
