Aimee was given the job of turning on the lights at last night's service in her role as the YEP's Child of Courage 2008.
And, true to form, she didn't show a hint of nervousness when the moment came for the big switch-on.

"She was thrilled to be the centre of attention and it was a very moving service."
Aimee was chosen as this year's Child of Courage for the bravery and determination she has shown in the face of her severe disabilities. Aimee, 12 today, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy after being starved of oxygen at birth.
She cannot walk or talk and needs a special computer to communicate.
But despite all her difficulties she goes to mainstream school – Ralph Thoresby High – and dreams of one day being a teacher.
The YEP's promotions co-ordinator Lisa Bradbury read a citation dedicated to Aimee.
The service was led by the Rector of Leeds, the Rev Canon Tony Bundock and featured readings by deputy Lord Mayor of Leeds Gerald Wilkinson,
YEP editor Paul Napier and deputy editor Nicola Megson.
