A Horsforth schoolgirl and her friends danced to raise money for charity with a performance in her own back garden.
Amber Mace, 14, organised a show with the proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support. She raised £550.

The Horsforth School pupil was spurred on by the passing of her grandfather Jeff Appleby, who died earlier this year.

Mum Lisa said: "I was really proud of her because they have all been practicing over and over and they did really well.

"I think that she would like to do something like this every year, but we will have to wait and see what happens.

"It's a good job that we have got a big back garden for it!"
