Armed raid on Horsforth bakery

An armed robber burst into a Horsforth bakery and threatened staff before fleeing with cash from the till.

The robber who appeared to be armed with a handgun targeted Hardaker's bakery, on Town Street, at about 2.25pm on Thursday, June 18.

No-one was injured.

The robber was described as white, about 5ft 8ins, aged in his late 20s, pale skinned, and of slim to medium build, with a protruding upper lip. He was wearing a padded navy blue anorak.
