Axe falls on Horsforth post office branch

Horsforth's Station Road post office is to close after post office bosses rejected pleas to save it from the axe.
The branch is among 22 branches in Leeds which are to shut.

The Post Office says the closure of 2,500 branches nationwide is needed to maintain a sustainable network.

Post offices are losing around £3.5m a week with four million fewer customers than two years ago.
