Two Horsforth community groups are celebrating after being awarded hundreds of pounds worth of grants.
Horsforth Town Council has dished out the grants to two worthy groups which benefit the local community.

Horsforth Cornish Flats Tenants & Residents Association has been given £250 to improve the exterior of the flats.

The project will also provide an outdoor table and barbecue for residents to use, promoting community spirit and involvement.

A grant of £300 was awarded to St Mary's RC Church to help with the cost of specialist cleaning and repairing of the organ.

The organ is vital part of the church and is used in weekly services and special concerts to raise money for charity.
