Bouncer 'relieved of his duties' after double amputee beaten up at Leeds bar Headrow House

Double amputee George Blackshaw, aged 19, was apparently beaten at the venue at 3am on Tuesday morning, as these photos show.
Harry Irlam posted on Twitter: "He’s a DOUBLE AMPUTEE. Absolutely disgusting. If anyone saw this take place or have a video please let us know."

Hide AdHeadrow House, located in The Headrow in Leeds city centre, issued a statement after police issued a statement confirming that an investigation has been launched.
A statement by Headrow House said: "The management team and security provider for Headrow House have now completed a full and thorough internal investigation into an incident which occurred at Headrow House in the early hours of Tuesday 11th December 2018.
"We can confirm that the member of the security team involved in the incident has been relieved of his duties effective immediately and we’d like to take this opportunity to apologise wholeheartedly to George.
"We will continue to work with all parties, including West Yorkshire Police, during the ongoing investigation."

Hide AdA statement by West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called at about 3.14am this morning (11 /12/18) to a report a male had been assaulted on the Headrow in Leeds.
"The 19-year-old victim was taken to hospital for treatment to facial injuries, and initial enquiries are ongoing into the incident."
