Drug dealer caught with over a kilo of mixing agents at his home in Leeds
Officers arrested Eric Brummitt, 40, at his home in Leeds on January 19 this year after executing a search warrant. Police forced entry after he began flushing items down the toilet.
Deborah Smithies, prosecuting, said officers found three bags containing small amounts of heroin.

Hide AdOfficers then found bags containing benzocaine, caffine and paracetamol in various places around the property
Miss Smithies said the substances are commonly used as a mixing agent for class A drugs.
A mobile phone also was also seized and found to contain messages indicting that he had been selling steroids. Brummitt, of Middlecroft Road, Belle Isle, Leeds, pleaded guilty to being concerned in supplying a class A drug and supplying anabolic steroids. Simon Batiste, mitigating, said Brummitt had the heroin for his own use and took it to control the migraine pain he suffered due to head injuries he received in a car crash.Mr Batiste said Brummitt had also been using steroids at the time of the offending in order to build muscle.
The barrister said Brummitt sold the steroids in order to fund his own habit and agreed to store the mixing agents at his home on behalf of his supplier the day before the police raid.

Hide AdBrummitt was given a 12 month prison sentence, suspended for two years, and ordered to do 200 hours unpaid.
Judge Belcher told Brummitt: “The fact that you had the drugs in your possession is not the issue here.
“It is the fact that you got yourself involved with a drug dealer and you were assisting him by attempting to hide them.”
