Police arrested nine people for drugs offences after a raid at a Leeds city centre tower block.

The raid took place at a flat in Lovell Park Towers, just off of Clay Pit Lane.

It happened at about 2pm yesterday but the area is still cordoned off by police for a search.

Seven men and two women, aged between 29 and 59, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
