The talented eight-year-old won a "design a postcard competition" organised as part of this year's Leeds entry to the Chelsea Flower Show.

Children had to design a postcard that reflected the flood prevention and environmental protection themes of this year's entry, sponsored by Leeds-based firm HESCO Bastion.

Mary's winning design will be printed and included in the literature given to people who visit the Leeds garden at the show later this month.
