Horsforth's Yarnbury RFC: Club celebrate 136th AGM

Yarnbury celebrated their 136th AGM at the clubhouse last week and packed the meeting with over 100 members and players to celebrate a successful season.
Yarnbury 1st Team finished in third place just missing out on promotion to Old Brodleians and Skipton.

The second team - Yarnbury Hornets won their merit league for the second year to gain promotion to Yorks One merit league for second teams with the likes of senior teams from the top Yorkshire clubs winning 24 games and loosing 8.

The third team utilised 70 players throughout the season,a remarkable acheivement winning 14 times with 8 losses.

Yarnbury Hornets (fourth XV and veterans ) captained by Graham Riley and the Veterans by Phil Addy managed to win more than they lost 14-11.
