LEEDS United fell to a 1-0 defeat at Championship hosts Ipswich Town as the Whites paid the price for seeing Eunan O'Kane sent off in the first half.

Our man Phil Hay was on hand - as normal - to rate the individual performances of the Leeds players. Have a scroll down, see if you agree and post your own thoughts in the comments section at the bottom.

Felix Wiedwald - Wasn’t really worked while Leeds had 11 players and pulled off a decent save from Connolly in the second half but had no chance of reaching Celina’s strike. 6/10

Gaetano Berardi - Back in his preferred position and looked better for it. Pretty comfortable throughout, even in the periods where Ipswich were dominant. 7/10

Pontus Jansson - Hot-headed towards the end but Leeds needed a bit of devilment and his defending under pressure was creditable. 7/10

Liam Cooper - Will replay the chance his missed over and over. Should have scored it. But defensively, Leeds looked resilient. 6/10

Vurnon Anita - Has had harder days at left-back and no fingers could be pointed at him. But De Bock should offer more in attack. 6/10

Kalvin Phillips - Leeds were good nick for most of the first half and coping well in the spell before Celina scored. Couldn’t avoid losing his footing in the seconds before the goal. 7/10

Eunan O’Kane - Stupid to do what he did when he did. Ipswich were feeling the strain and Leeds were on the front foot. The red card sold United down the river. 3/10

Pawel Cibicki - Missed a veritable sitter, or at the very least a chance he should have scored, and then limped off. Another blow Leeds could have done without. 5/10

Pablo Hernandez - Excellent from the start, passing cleverly and making the most of possession when it came to him. The cross to Cooper was a gift. 8/10

Gjanni Alioski - Despite Leeds’ first-half pressure, Alioski wasn’t really at the centre of it and he made way as Christiansen altered his team at the interval. 5/10

Kemar Roofe - Couldn’t take a good opportunity before the break but produced some intelligent runs off the ball and helped to keep Leeds going forward. 6/10.

Substitutes:

Hadi Sacko (for Cibicki, 28) - A good display from him, particularly once Leeds were down to 10 men. Ran and hustled and did what needed to be done. 7/10

Conor Shaughnessy (for Alioski, 46) - A bit of a hospital pass for the youngster but provided a platform and fared much better than he had at Birmingham. 6/10

Pierre-Michel Lasogga (for Anita, 78) - Looked far more interested than he was at Newport and unlucky not to snatch a point at the death. 6/10

Subs (not used): Andy Lonergan, Stuart Dallas, Mateusz Klich, Jay-Roy Grot.

Referee: Robert Jones - A big call with the red card but was very certain about it. Leeds didn’t get much from him but he did well to resist pressure to show Jansson a second yellow late on. 6/10
